Colony Farm Midsummer Fete
I was honored to be invited to The Midsummer Fete this year to play the queen bee with my lovely colleague Maggie Winston as the Princess Bee. We had a grand time leading children on pollinating parades around the site. Where else can you hang out backstage with drag queens, milk maids, herons, hula hoop divas and a tap dancing chickadee?

Check out these knitted bees and this lovely skep made out of old sweaters. So cool!
The blues in this installation are stunning. There are more photos of the event posted here.
