Today on CBC Radio One's The Current they celebrated 10 years by interviewing my favorite journalist, Anna Maria Tremonti. Ms. Tremonti knows just how to tackle important issues by playing tough with some interviewees and being genuinely compassionate and caring with others. In particular, she has raised awareness of many international women's issues along with issues of humanity that require us to examine some of the darkest areas of human behavior.
You can listen to the podcast of Lynden MacIntyre interviewing AMT, and her moving tribute to her late mother at the end of the show.
Okay CBC, now IMO you need to make The Current a longer show--add another hour onto it. I would love to hear more of Anna Maria Tremonti, please!!!!!!
