Neonics are synthetic pesticides that kill bees and pollute the environment as they build up in the soil. Bees consume nectar and pollen with these chemicals which act as neurotoxins with lethal and sublethal effects. Home Depot and Lowe's are selling bedding plants treated with neonics.
